The presentation of slivers from wound bumps to deliver a uniform blanket to the first Backwash / Superwash bowl. The drive to overhead rollers and transport cylinders is via a variable speed transmission giving adjustable tension. Bumps are rotated on profiled rollers and twist free bumps are supported on static holders to provide positive traction and delivery. Guides are provided where required to prevent individual ends from crossing each other. ANDAR offers a range of creels to provide a controlled feed of slivers from cans to backwash and shrink resist systems. The creels can be supplied with static and rotating bases handling 24 to 56 ends depending upon client specific requirements. The driven overhead roller system provides the ability to regulate sliver tension in conjunction with the guide system.
