Developed to provide washing and setting of wool yarns in hank form, the ANDAR Hankscour systems come in 2 variations. The 4-bowl system is designed to scour off carding oils and eliminate residual ash for brighter cleaner yarns. The 5-bowl system provides greater processing flexibility with the added ability to provide permanent setting of wool yarns using sodium metabisulphite. Following processing through the Hankscour, hanks are manually loaded into the Unidryer to provide accurate control of drying to a customer specified regain to suit downstream weaving and tufting requirements.
