Didymo Screens

AQWELL Didymo Screens are designed to provide a robust solution for the removal of didymo and other debris from water race intakes.

The screen automatically removes debris in a positive manner, ensuring debris is not blasted off only to be drawn back on the screen or other screens downstream.

Intermittent cleaning of the screen element is an automated process.

• Supported screen frame of hot dipped galvanised or painted mild steel construction, including discharge slide for debris
• Perforated screen element of 304-stainless steel construction, with screen area to suit flow and chosen screen aperture
• Screen cleaning system including drag chain conveyor and hard-wearing nylon brushes
• Electrical control system including variable speed cleaning system with intermittent run timer
• Can be designed to meet fish exclusion guidelines
