Rotocom Vessel Consistent Processing

Rotocom Vessel Consistent Processing

Key Benefits

Complete pathogen and seed destruction

Range of waste streams able to be processed

Can be operated for total decomposition or production of consistently high compost depending on throughput and feed material composition

Stable process and temperature profile enables different environmental microbes to be active simultaneously in the system

Continous and consistent aeration for consistent oxygen levels

Eliminates the risk from dust and bioaerosols

Does not dry out or compost unevenly

Accurate blending of feeds lead to consistent C:N ratios due to continuous mixing system

Reduces vector attraction (flies and vermin)

Temperature profile inside Rotocom

The ROTOCOM™ system can be operated to meet all applicable standards, for example:

EU Animal By-products Regulations (2003) Enforced by DEFRA in UK

NZWWA - Guidelines for the safe application of biosolids to land in New Zealand

Australian Standard AS4454-1999 (Composts, Soils Conditioners and Mulches)

USEPA 40 CFR Part 503 (Standards for the use and disposal of sewarge sludge)

Thermophilic Temperature Acheived:

A. Development of high temperatures in the materials as, firstly
mesophilic and then thermophilic, microrganisms begin
decomposing the readily available components in the waste.
B. Period of high temperatures to ensure complete destruction
    of pathogens and seeds.
C. Gradual cooling as biodegradable components are completed.
