Front Store News

The Front Store is proud to announce the addition of a 4th Branch in our network.  SKF New Zealand sold their  Nelson operation to The Front Store in 2009 creating a fantastic opportunity which allows customers to benefit from increased buying power, extended range and increased stock levels.  The new Branch Manager, Dan Wetzelberger, is enjoying the challenge having originally worked in the Washdyke Timaru Branch.   Nelson will benefit from    Dan's vast experience and knowledge, his friendly and effiicent manner, along with his great sense of humour.  At present located at 76 Vickerman Street, Port Nelson the store will soon be moving two doors down to 72 Vickerman Street, a larger and more customer-friendly store, allowing for additional high quality stock and off street parking.

To assist in growing areas The Front Store has employed two new Sales staff.  Newly appointed Sales Manager, Glen Patterson has many years experience in the engineering industry and is a local from Timaru.  Glen will assist Clayton and his team from Head Office.  Also recently, Dave Hyde has been employed as the Christchurch based Sales Representative, assisting Jason Labudde in Total Oil Lubricants.  

With 2009 busy in the growth department one would expect 2010 to be a quieter period.  "Not so", states Clayton Holland, Division Manager for The Front Stores.  "As some may have heard, we are also opening a branch in Oamaru early this year, further expanding The Front Store Branches.
