Irrigation Gates

ANDAR Irrigation Gates are designed and fabricated specifically for NZ irrigation scheme conditions - clean water and significant elevation fall. Simple and exact engineering mean the ANDAR Gate Systems are trouble-free, allowing the raceman to concentrate on running the scheme.

The ANDAR Irrigation Gate System incorporates the gate and mounting frame, automated actuation, remote monitoring and control, overall integration within the scheme, a range of power sources and communication options, manual override capability and a tamper-proof lockable housing for key components.

ANDAR Irrigation Gates are available in a range of sizes corresponding to main intakes, laterial races and farm turnouts, developed together with South Island scheme operators.

Irrigation Controls

ANDAR and NIWA* have formed a working partnership for the joint development of the ANDAR Irrigation System controls. UniData*TM and NEONTM electronic control elements allow flow measurement and recording and real-time monitoring of flow, gate aperture and electronic communication via GSM or radio links. ANDAR includes component options as elements of each installation.

The combination of ANDAR Engineering know-how and NIWA experience in electronic control and data harvest put them at the forefront of the industry in the 21st Century.
